AREA Machine Learning and Knowledge Discovery (MLKD)

Call for Contributions to the Area:

We solicit contributions on knowledge discovery with data mining and machine learning methods, including works on the underpinnings of supervised, unsupervised and semisupervised learning, studies of challenging applications like social networks and recommendation engines, and advances on the analysis of complex data like data streams and relational data. The area on data mining and machine learning addresses problems in data analysis from the perspective of computer science. It covers research in all the fundamental supervised and unsupervised problems in machine learning and data mining, research in specific actual problem settings such as relational data and streaming data, as well as research in application areas ranging from personalization to computer vision.
