Courses in summer term 2019 / Master-Seminar: Data Analytics
Abstract
Privacy preservation is a major concern in the modern age, given the wide usage of personal data in computerized algorithms. Furthermore, the latest General Data Protection Regulation gave a new policy-making impulse in treating sensitive data. In that regard, it is important to develop machine learning methods that consider the privacy preservation aspects, as well as provide an adequate level of anonymization. During this seminar students will read and review state-of-the-art machine learning research focusing on privacy and anonymization.
