Projects & Cooperations / Upgrade IT:

Transfer and exchange network

Upgrade IT

The goal of the project is to establish transfer and exchange structures that bring business executives and scientists from SUH together in order to mutually generate IT knowledge and IT synergies. In particular, the three IT-relevant subject areas data science, software engineering, and business engineering, which are already important topics in research and teaching at the SUH, are being addressed. The targeted forms of events are designed and tested in order to emphasize competencies for the active shaping of digitization.

The targeted audience of the project includes specialists from all industries who need to update or supplement their IT knowledge in the subject areas addressed by the project.

The addressees of the transfer and exchange measures are not limited to companies whose products include digitized benefits in kind (e.g. in the form of measurement technology), digitized services (e.g. IT security audits) or digital goods (e.g. Online databases). Rather, all companies are addressed that are constantly challenged by the ever shorter innovation cycles of IT to keep up with the technical and organizational changes. In no way is an offer planned exclusively for large companies. Instead, the requirements of specialists in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will be given special consideration. At the same time, the format of these transfer and exchange structures will be developed and designed together with the companies. For further information please check the project website.
