Online Social Networks are a popular way for people to interact, communicate, express themselves, and share contents. These platforms provide a rich ground for various machine learning applications that can analyze users behaviors and interactions such as recommender systems, link prediction, location prediction, event detection, and sentiment analysis. The aim of this seminar is to expose the students to the applications of machine learning in the domain of social networks. It will enhance the students' abilities to comprehend, explain and criticize state-of-the-art research. On the other hand, it serves as a playground for developing analytical thinking.
