Deep Learning have re-emerged as a renaissance of the traditional neural networks, benefiting from better computational power and larger datasets. Such deep computational models have been applied successfully in numerous successful application domains, ranging from image classification, medical diagnostification, up to recommender systems.In the course of the seminar students will have the opportunity to familiarize with state-of-the-art research in the field of deep learning. Students are expected to substantially understand a chosen topic and present it to a plenary audience composed of the other course participants.
